The LPGA Tour returns to the West Course at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club for the fourth playing of the Maybank Championship, featuring a $3.0 million purse and a field stacked with international stars, past champions, and regional talent.
Defending champion Miyu Yamashita, who won in her tournament debut before going on to earn 2025 Louise Suggs Rookie of the Year honors, leads a headline group of past champions that includes 2024 winner Ruoning Yin and inaugural 2023 champion Celine Boutier.
Ten sponsor exemptions are in the field, highlighting a strong local and regional contingency. Leading the home-country contingent is Kuala Lumpur native Natasha Oon, a San Jose State product and 2026 LPGA Tour rookie, alongside fellow Malaysian Mirabel Ting, who played on the Epson Tour in 2026 and has already secured her LPGA Tour card for 2027. The local representation also includes Ladies European Tour player Genevieve Ling and veteran Kelly Tan, who joined the LPGA Tour in 2014, as well as LET Order of Merit contender Anna Huang.
