01J.J. 스폰의 BMW PGA 챔피언십 우승 클럽 라인업
J.J. 스폰이 DP월드투어 롤렉스 시리즈의 핵심 대회인 BMW PGA 챔피언십에서 통산 두 번째 투어 정상에 올랐다. 잉글랜드 벤트워스 클럽에서 펼쳐진 이번 대회에서 스폰은 신뢰하는 퍼터로의 복귀와 정교한 클럽 교체를 바탕으로 정상을 차지했다.
가장 눈에 띄는 장비 변화는 퍼터다. 최근 스코티 카메론 투어 온리 9.2R 퍼터를 사용해왔던 스폰은 이번 대회를 앞두고 2025년 U.S. 오픈 우승을 이끌었던 L.A.B. DF3 퍼터로 전격 교체했다. 메이저 정상에 올랐던 검증된 퍼터로 되돌아간 결정이 승부처마다 빛을 발했다.
또한 지난 7월 제네시스 스코티시 오픈과 디 오픈 챔피언십 이후 기존 스릭슨 ZX 유틸리티 아이언 대신 테일러메이드 Qi10 5번 우드를 새롭게 구성에 넣었다. 드라이버는 타이틀리스트 GT3를 유지했으며, 테일러메이드 Qi10 3번 우드와 스릭슨 ZXi5(4번 아이언), ZXi7(5번~피칭웨지) 아이언 세트를 조합했다.
웨지는 클리브랜드 RTX 짚코어(50도), RTZ(54도), RTX-6 투어 랙 짚코어(60도)를 채택했으며, 골프공은 스릭슨 Z-스타를 사용했다. 정교한 롱게임과 익숙한 퍼팅 감각의 조화가 스폰의 롤렉스 시리즈 제패를 이끌어냈다.

He had recently been playing with a Scotty Cameron Tour Only 9.2R but he switched back to the LAB DF3 with which he won the 2025 U.S. Open for his Rolex Series victory at Wentworth Club.
His only other change since playing the Genesis Scottish Open and Open Championship in July was adding a TaylorMade Qi10 five wood for a Srixon ZX utility iron.
Spaun also plays with a Titleist GT3 driver, a TaylorMade Qi10 three wood, a Srixon ZXi5 four iron, Srixon Zxi7 five iron to pitching wedge, a Cleveland RTX Zipcore 50-degree wedge, a Cleveland RTZ 54-degree wedge and a Cleveland RTX-6 Tour Rack Zipcore 60-degree wedge.
