The seventh playing of the BMW Ladies Championship is set to showcase one of the LPGA Tour’s most competitive fields as it returns to Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do.
The event, which has rotated across four host venues in Republic of Korea since its inception, brings together top-ranked global stars, recent tour winners, and past champions.
Defending champion Sei Young Kim headlines the field following her victory in 2025. Kim enters as the tournament, holding or sharing the event's 18-hole, 36-hole, 54-hole, and 72-hole scoring records. Ranked No. 9 in the Rolex Rankings, Kim is one of two past champions competing this week, joined by 2023 winner Minjee Lee (No. 17).
A total of 14 players from the top 25 of the Rolex Rankings are featured in the field, led by world No. 3 Haeran Ryu. Ryu leads a strong group of 2026 LPGA Tour winners after capturing two major titles this season at The Amundi Evian Championship and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
