가비 로페스가 미국여자프로골프(LPGA) 투어 뷰익 LPGA 상하이 최종 라운드에서 매서운 상승세를 타며 상위권으로 대회를 마쳤다.
로페스는 대회 마지막 날 67타를 기록하며 무결점 경기력을 선보였다. 최종일 맹활약에 힘입어 리더보드 상단에 자신의 이름을 올렸다.
이번 성적으로 로페스는 올 시즌 자신의 네 번째 Top 10을 달성하게 됐다. 시즌 내내 꾸준함을 유지해온 그는 이번 대회에서도 안정적인 기량을 입증했다.

Gaby Lopez closed strong at the Buick LPGA Shanghai, firing a 5-under-par 67 in Sunday’s final round to surge into a tie for 10th place.
The 32-year-old native of Mexico rebounded from an opening-round 73 and subsequent scores of 74 and 72 to finish at 2-under 286 for the tournament.
Lopez recorded six birdies against a single bogey in her final round, navigating the course by hitting 9 of 14 fairways, 13 of 18 greens in regulation, and needing just 25 putts.
“I think my game was in a really good position the first three days. I was just not scoring and it was a little frustrating,” Lopez said. “Today with a fearless attitude I put it together.”
High winds tested players over the first three rounds, with gusts reaching 15 to 20 mph. As conditions softened on Sunday, Lopez took advantage.
“Being able to have a little lower wind and the more you see the golf course, the more familiar you are to it,” Lopez said. “I think being able to hit fairways, and yeah, aggressive when you have a chance with a wedge in your hand.”
The event kicked off the LPGA's annual Asia Swing, and Lopez spoke warmly about playing in front of the local crowd.
“I love China. I mean, the people are very enthusiastic,” Lopez said. “They're very friendly. They get a little emotional at times.”
The result marks Lopez’s fourth top-10 finish of the season across 16 starts, having made 14 cuts. Her top performances this year also include a tie for second at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally, a tie for third at the Mizuho Americas Open, and a tie for fifth at the Fortinet Founders Cup.
