Haeran Ryu of the Republic of Korea carded a 1-over 73 in the final round Sunday to finish tied for second at the BMW Ladies Championship, one shot behind winner Yuri Yoshida.

Ryu began the day with the lead at 17-under 199 and finished at 16-under 272 at Pine Beach Golf Links, a par-72 course in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do. Yoshida posted 17-under 271. The result is Ryu’s 11th top-10 finish in 16 starts this season.

Ryu played the front nine in even-par 36, making nine straight pars to hold at 17-under through the turn. She added six more pars from the 10th through the 15th, staying at 17-under with three holes to play.

The round turned over the closing stretch. Ryu bogeyed the par-4 16th to fall to 16-under, then answered with her only birdie of the day on the par-5 17th to return to 17-under. A bogey on the par-4 18th left her at 16-under and one behind Yoshida. Ryu finished with 15 pars, one birdie and two bogeys, and a back-nine 37.

The finish extends a consistent season for the 25-year-old, who has made 15 cuts in 16 starts. Ryu won two major championships in 2026, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and The Amundi Evian Championship, and has five LPGA Tour victories overall. She also recorded top-10 finishes at the AIG Women’s Open (T6) and the FM Championship (T9) before this week.

Her ball-striking numbers remain among the best on Tour. Ryu leads the LPGA Tour in strokes gained approach at 1.50 per round and ranks third in strokes gained off the tee (0.91) and strokes gained total (2.24). She also leads the tour in Greens in Regulation rank at 79.04% and in ball striking.

With the season’s remaining events ahead, Ryu will look to turn that tee-to-green consistency into another trophy.
