🌐 DP월드투어, 2027시즌 글로벌 일정 발표…홍콩·싱가포르 오픈 등 내셔널 오픈 대거 복귀

DP월드투어가 전 세계 24개국에서 최소 42개 대회를 치르는 2027시즌 글로벌 투어 일정을 전격 발표했다. 이번 일정 발표에서 가장 눈에 띄는 대목은 홍콩 오픈, 도이치방크 싱가포르 오픈, 포르투갈 오픈 등 오랜 역사를 자랑하는 아시아와 유럽의 주요 내셔널 오픈 대회들의 투어 복귀다.

아시아 지역에서는 홍콩 오픈이 2019년 이후 8년 만에 DP월드투어 일정으로 돌아오며, 도이치방크 싱가포르 오픈 역시 센토사 골프클럽에서 펼쳐진다. 두 대회는 지난 7월 PGA 투어, DP월드투어, 아시안 투어 간 체결된 3자 파트너십의 일환으로 아시안 투어와 공동 주관(Co-sanction)으로 개최된다. 여기에 2020년 이후 처음으로 복귀하는 포르투갈 오픈을 포함해 2027시즌에는 총 17개의 내셔널 오픈이 투어 무대를 장식하게 된다.

2027년 9월 17일부터 19일까지 아일랜드 아다레 매너에서 열리는 유럽과 미국의 대항전 '라이더컵(Ryder Cup)'에 맞춘 일정 재조정도 이뤄졌다. 암젠 아일랜드 오픈은 7월 초로 자리를 옮기며, 라이더컵 직전 주에는 2018년 라이더컵 개최지였던 르 골프 나시오날에서 페덱스 프랑스 오픈이 열린다. 라이더컵 직후 주에는 롤렉스 시리즈 대회인 BMW PGA 챔피언십이 윈트워스 클럽에서 개최돼 열기를 이어간다.

The return of three historic tournaments – two in Asia and one in Europe - headline the 2027 DP World Tour’s global schedule which is announced today.

• Three historic tournaments – two in Asia, one in Europe - return to the schedule

• Hong Kong Open and Deutsche Bank Singapore Open to be co-sanctioned with Asian Tour

• New dates for the Amgen Irish Open, FedEx Open de France and BMW PGA Championship

• Schedule features a minimum of 42 tournaments in 24 different countries.

Two National Opens, the Deutsche Bank Singapore Open from April 15-18 and the Open de Portugal|Cascais-Lisboa from May 13-16, will feature in the Asian Swing and European Swing respectively.

Also returning to the schedule from October 21-24 is the Hong Kong Open. Both it and the Deutsche Bank Singapore Open will be co-sanctioned with the Asian Tour as part of the new tri-partite partnership, including the PGA Tour, which was agreed in July.

One of Asia’s most historic tournaments, the Hong Kong Open returns to the DP World Tour’s schedule for the first time since 2019. Established in 1959, the event was co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and Asian Tour 18 times in total after first featuring on the DP World Tour’s schedule in 2002. It returns to Hong Kong Golf Club from October 21-24.

Similarly, the Deutsche Bank Singapore Open is one of Asia’s most prestigious national Opens, having been established in 1961. The event was previously co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour between 2009 and 2012 and will be played at Sentosa Golf Club.

Meanwhile, the Open de Portugal|Cascais-Lisboa returns to the schedule for the first time since 2020, adding another historic national Open to the European Swing. Established in 1953, the Open de Portugal has featured 38 times on the DP World Tour schedule since the Tour’s inception in 1972. The 2027 tournament will be played at Oitavos Dunes Links Golf, in Cascais in May.

Aside from the two returning national Opens, there are new dates for the Amgen Irish Open, FedEx Open de France and BMW PGA Championship due to the 2027 Ryder Cup, which takes place at Adare Manor in Ireland from September 17-19.

The Amgen Irish Open, which returns to The K Club, will be played from July 1-4, joining the Closing Swing for one season. In the Back 9, the FedEx Open de France will take place from September 9-12 at Le Golf National, the 2018 Ryder Cup venue hosting the tournament the week before the 2027 Ryder Cup.

The BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club will take place from September 23-26, the week immediately after the Ryder Cup. It will be the third Rolex Series event of 2027, following the Hero Dubai Desert Classic (January 21-24) and the Genesis Scottish Open (July 8-11), before the two DP World Tour Play-Off events, the Abu Dhabi Championship (November 4-7) and DP World Tour Championship, Dubai (November 11-14) conclude the season.

In total, the global schedule will feature 42 tournaments in 24 different countries as part of the Race to Dubai. Additionally, along with the 2027 Ryder Cup, team match play will also feature at the start of the calendar year, with the Team Cup taking place from January 15-17.
