한 시즌 다승을 달성한 선수들은 레이스 투 두바이(Race to Dubai) 포인트 경쟁에서 단숨에 최상위권으로 치고 나간다. 특히 롤렉스 시리즈나 비중이 큰 대회에서 연이어 정상에 오를 경우, 투어 최고 영예인 시즌 종합 우승 자리에 한 걸음 더 가까워지게 된다.

In the history of the DP World Tour, there have been just eight seasons where there hasn't been at least one three-time winner.
Eugenio Chacarra ensured he was the latest name to be added to an impressive list of three-time winners on the DP World Tour with a two-shot victory at the DP World India Championship.
Adding to his wins earlier in the season at the KLM Open and DS Automobiles 83° Open d'Italia, the Spaniard became the first man to complete the feat since Marco Penge in 2025, and now joins an elite club full of multiple Major champions that includes Seve Ballesteros, Sir Nick Faldo, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods.
Just four European Tour players in history have achieved six tournament wins in a single season.
Seve Ballesteros, Colin Montgomerie, Lee Westwood and Nick Faldo are all certified European Tour and Ryder Cup legends, so it will come as no surprise that they all comprise this elite club.

Seve Ballesteros is a name which features on each of these lists. In addition to six wins in 1986 and five wins in 1988, Ballesteros also claimed four victories in each of the 1978, 1980, 1983 and 1985.
Bernard Langer (1984, 1997), Ian Woosnam (1987, 1990, 1994) and Tiger Woods (2000, 2001, 2002, 2005) also have each had four wins in a single season.
It will be perhaps unsurprising, that Seve also won three times in 1977 and 1989, making it eight times where the late, great Spaniard earned at least three victories in a single season.
Other players to have multiple seasons with three wins are Bernhard Langer (1983, 1985, 1995), Sam Torrance (1984, 1993, 1995), Ian Woosnam (1988, 1991), Ernie Els (2002, 2004, 2005), Jose Maria Olazabal (1990, 1994), Colin Montgomerie (1994, 1996, 1998), Tiger Woods (1999, 2007, 2008).
